DATA PRIVACY NOTICE

San Agustin Institute of Technology, Inc. (SAIT), located in Valencia City, Bukidnon, respects your right to privacy and is committed to safeguarding the personal data of our students, parents, and stakeholders. This Data Privacy Notice is issued in compliance with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173) and its Implementing Rules and Regulations.

SAIT collects personal data through physical forms, online systems, CCTV, and other means during enrollment, academic transactions, and school activities.

We collect and process your personal data for legitimate and lawful purposes such as:

• Communication and school announcements

4. Personal Information Controller (PIC)

SAIT is the Personal Information Controller.

SAIT may use automated systems such as learning management systems and enrollment platforms. Some data may be analyzed for class performance or ranking, but no decisions affecting rights or privileges will be made solely based on automated processing.

We implement industry-standard physical, organizational, and technical measures to protect your data, such as:

• Secure data disposal procedures


7. Risks

While every effort is made to secure your data, risks such as unauthorized access or accidental loss may still occur. In case of a breach, you will be notified, and corrective actions will be taken.
