Resumption of Classes
EMERGENCY ACADEMIC CONCERNS:
School Calendar
a. The second semester will resume on May 04, 2020 (for record purposes but no face to face classes) to June 26, 2020 (all grades are submitted to the Program Head, Dean and the Registrar including the year-end clearance).
Delivery of Instruction Modality
a. Face to face classes is suspended due to the following reasons:
Threat of the virus is still evident even if guidelines are being followed within Poblacion as well as the school premises.
Many classes have more than 30 students.
School cannot guarantee the safety of the students and teachers outside the school premises.
It is a big problem for students outside Bukidnon since they will undergo 14 day quarantine.
Students within Valencia have difficulty acquiring quarantine pass especially the commuters.
Many students are below 20 years of age.
Some classes are beyond the curfew hours.
Prioritize the safety of the students as well as the teachers and staff.
The school is liable to whatever happens to students and teachers when face to face classes resumes.
b. Mass promotion is not possible because it will unfair for students who are performing well.
Assessment of Learning and Grading
Cancellation of midterm exam.
Coverage taken after the prelim and before the quarantine will be part of the finals.
Teachers need not follow the prepared syllabus however they will select/prioritize topics based on the need of the students.
Teachers will do online requirements (those with internet access like) and mobile access (SMS or call).
Teachers are advised to create a group chat with their students per subject. If not, you can choose a contact person who will served as a mediator of the students and the teacher.
As much as possible, 1 student mediator per subject.
For those who don’t have contact information of their chosen student, kindly give the name of the student and send to the CSAS Rian P. Maisog, PhD (09975119725) since he has the needed information. Include your cellphone number or email address for immediate communication.
LET REVIEW (for Education Students only)
♦ Select faculty members according to specialization will be requested by the Education Program head as part of the Review Team.
♦ They are still require to make new materials for the LET Review.
♦ Students will have 1 day LET Exam Trial.
♦ It will be scheduled on June depending on the situation.
Yearbook
Program Heads will choose a contact person of the graduating class to closely coordinate with the Yearbook In-charge. He/she will be responsible of gathering photos of the batch since first year as well as other information.
Yearbook In-charge will schedule an individual pictorial with the release of solicitation forms.
Submission of solicited forms and payment will be through email or service providers.
